Hello! Before you send us an inquiry, please read carefully to make sure your question is not answered below:

Though we do review every email received, we have gathered the most commonly asked questions below about how to navigate coming to class and our policies to save some time. If your inquiry falls within one of the most commonly asked questions answered below, you will not receive a response, so it is important to review the information. If your question was not answered here, we will reconnect with you within 72 hours (excluding weekends and holidays).

Q: Where is Speakeasy located?

A: We are open for in-person classes at 510 E 3rd St. You can find our fully interactive and up to date schedule here.

Q: How do I sign up & pay?

A: If you are looking to purchase passes, visit the bottom of our Passes + Memberships page or purchase when signing up for a class on our schedule page. 

Q: I was late/missed a class, did I lose my credit?

A: Please read our late cancel/no show policy on the purchase page and always make sure to allow extra time for parking and traffic. We are not responsible for missed class due to parking issues, personal scheduling issues, or illness. You can avoid the late cancel/no show fee by de-registering up to 2 hours before class begins.

Q: How do I redeem a gift certificate?

A: If your gift certificate was purchased before March 28th, 2024: Please send info@speakeasydayton.com a photo of your gift certificate or copy of your purchase email. We will redeem your pass for you and confirm once it is loaded to your account.


Q: I received an email from the waitlist, but I can’t register, why is that?

A: The waitlist will email the first person on the waitlist and allow 10 minutes for that spot to be claimed. If unclaimed an alert is sent to the next in line. Once we reach 60 minutes before the class start time, if a space becomes available the waitlist automatically emails everyone on it and the spot is first come first serve. If you cannot register that means the spot has been taken already.

Q: I’m having tech issues with the virtual studio, can you help me?
A: Please refer to Vimeo support team to help you out. Any virtual studio account/tech questions, please visit this page <https://virtualstudio.speakeasydayton.com/help>, do not contact 
Speakeasy. This includes charges placed for your virtual pass, we cannot issue refunds or access billing for this. 


Q: I would like to cancel/pause/subscribe to the virtual studio, can you do this for me?
A: We are so excited to share virtualstudio.speakeasydayton.com. Should you need to cancel your Speakeasy Virtual Studio auto-renew pass, you can do this by accessing your account on the virtual studio website (not via Tula account, which is what you use for in-studio visits). If you have not yet logged in, use your regular email and go through the “reset my password” process. 


Q: I was charged this month for my Speakeasy Virtual Studio membership ($30/month)/in-person auto-debit Month Unlimited membership ($109) or Basic Membership ($59), but I didn’t sign up again. Can I get a refund?
A: For Month Unlimited auto-debit ($109): All purchases are non-refundable. We have our purchase and registration policy listed here <http://www.speakeasydayton.com/purchase> as well as in the auto-email that sends to you when you purchase your pass. We do not issue refunds once charges have been placed. Month Unlimited can be cancelled after the 3rd charge. Basic membership can be cancelled anytime.

For Speakeasy Virtual Studio Memberships: Virtual Studio memberships have a 7 day cancellation/refund window after your charge. Since your virtual studio pass is billed through Vimeo and not Speakeasy directly, we do not have the ability to issue refunds. Instead, please visit this page <https://virtualstudio.speakeasydayton.com/help> to contact the Vimeo OTT support team where they will be able to help you. 


Please note email is the best form of communication. All calls to Speakeasy go to a cell line and email communication is preferred as it is much easier to keep track of. Calls will not be answered outside of standard business hours.
