the physical practice of yoga-asana is designed to teach you about yourself and all of your unique qualities, but that’s not always easy in a group class because the poses don’t always fit every one in the same way. each person’s skeleton, musculature, connective tissue, lifestyle and injuries create a unique bio-mechanical range and a somatic imprint that is all too often ignored and "powered" through. once these natural states are uncovered, the awareness will facilitate a wiser approach to the postures being offered within the asana lab as well as better inform how you approach postures in classes outside of the lab.

in the asana lab you will learn how to work with your unique personal physiology as it relates to yoga postures, each and every pose, each and every time. reduce injuries, learn what doesn’t work for you, and most importantly, learn what does work, and how to optimize that discovery to best suit your personal practice.
